Memory & Storage
Out of the box, it comes equipped with 4 GB of DDR4 ECC SODIMM system memory. It has two memory slots that support an expansion capability of up to 32 GB. The enclosure features 2 hot-swappable drive bays supporting 3.5-inch SATA hard drives and 2.5-inch SATA solid-state drives, alongside 2 built-in M.2 2280 NVMe SSD slots used for caching or storage pools. It can be expanded up to 7 drives total using a Synology DX525 expansion unit.
Connectivity & Interfaces
For network connectivity, the device includes one high-speed 2.5GbE RJ-45 LAN port and one standard 1GbE RJ-45 LAN port. It features one USB 3.2 Gen 1 port and one USB Type-C expansion port.
